A Baffled Culture Flask with Membrane Screw Cap features indentation or ridges on the base that disrupt the swirling motion of the liquid during shaking. This creates increased turbulence, improving oxygen transfer and mixing. The membrane screw cap contains a hydrophobic, gas permeable membrane that allows oxygen and carbon dioxide to pass while preventing contamination of bacteria, fungi and airborne particles.
